Earlier, Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary, Minister of Panchayati Raj in the Government of Uttar Pradesh has announced 58,189-gram panchayat offices in the state. For the development of these secretariats, an expenditure of Rs 1.75 lakh is to be made by the government on each panchayat.
The government is recruiting Panchayat Assistant-cum-Accountant-cum-Data Entry Operator to run these secretariats providing space for Jan Seva Kendras and BC Sakhi. These Panchayat assistants will be appointed by the head of the concerned Gram Panchayat.
A total of 58189 vacancies will be recruited. The application process for recruitment to the post of Panchayat Assistant cum DEO is ongoing through offline mode.
